Dr. Ryan Held (Managing Partner, Board of Director)

PhD, Physics, ETH Zurich  -  Associated Postdoctoral, Yale University  -  MBA, ESADE Barcelona

Experienced Researcher and Analyst in the fields of alternative investments and quantitative finance in general. Prior to Dufour Capital, at RMF and Man Investments, one of the world's largest hedge fund firms. Responsible for all quantitative aspects of the strategic/ tactical asset allocation and investment outlook. In addition, Research on hedge fund replication techniques and econometrics in collaboration with AHL and Oxford University.

Quantum- and Nanophysics at ETH Zurich; over 30 publications in renowned journals and several patent applications. Associated Postdoctoral fellow at Yale University in the field of Quantum Computing. Participated in various IT start ups. For over 5 years at a quantitative risk management consultancy for insurances and pension plans with responsibility over market development and client projects.


Sascha Freimueller (Managing Partner, Board of Director)

GMP, Harvard, Boston  -  MBA, UAS Zurich  -  BSc, Physical Chemistry, UAS Zurich

Experienced professional in managing investment firms and R&D. Before Dufour Capital 9 years at RMF and Man Group, one of the world's largest hedge fund firms. At RMF Head of Corporate Risk, responsible over risk policies for hedge fund investing, built and lead department to oversee financial, operational and strategic risks. Later responsible for strategic business planning, financial analysis and business development projects of Man's fund of hedge fund division.

Over 7 years experience in research. Lead multiple scientific research and consulting projects at ETH Zurich on behalf of international pharmaceutical and biotech companies – several publications, new drug laws, winner of national scientific contest. R&D project in risk engineering at SwissRe. Executive Committee / Head Operations of a US based lab company.

 

Dr. iur. Werner Erisman (Legal & Compliance, Board of Director)

Very experienced senior lawyer in international banking. Many years of professional experience as General Counsel in global banks. Member of the Executive Committee of a Swiss Private Banking group. Independent lawyer since 2006.
